Fees & What's Included

Clear, Transparent ADHD Clinic Fees

Our fees cover the assessment, titration and monitoring that safe ADHD medication management requires. Here is exactly what each fee includes, so there are no surprises along the way.

Initial ADHD Medication Assessment & Titration

€600

This fee includes:

Initial medical assessment with the doctor to discuss ADHD medication and treatment options

Commencement of ADHD medication, where clinically appropriate

6–8 weeks of follow-up telephone consultations to monitor progress and treatment response

Medication titration, including adjustments to medication and dosage during this period to establish a suitable treatment plan

Ongoing Prescription Service

€20 per month

Once your ADHD medication has been established and your dosage is stable, an ongoing prescription service fee of €20 per month applies.

All prescriptions remain subject to the treating doctor's clinical approval.

Additional Medical Reviews

€90 per review

Where an additional medical review is required after the initial 6–8 week titration period, a fee of €90 per review applies. These reviews may be necessary to assess:

We do not cut corners. Clinical assessment forms part of safe ADHD medication management — every patient is reviewed thoroughly before prescribing and monitored at regular intervals throughout their care.

Self-Assessment Questionnaires

Patients are required to complete the ADHD self-assessment questionnaires requested during treatment.

Complete the ADHD self-assessment questionnaires we send you throughout your treatment.

These help your doctor monitor medication effectiveness, side effects and progress.

They also support safe, informed prescribing decisions at every stage.

Failure to complete requested questionnaires may result in delays to reviews or prescription renewals where that information is required for safe prescribing.

Telephone Reviews & Communication

During the initial medication titration period, we follow a clear, structured process so nothing is missed.

During Your Titration Period

The doctor will contact you by telephone to review your progress and medication response.

If the doctor is unable to reach you, the clinic will email you requesting an update.

Please keep your contact details up to date at all times.

Please be available for scheduled telephone reviews where possible.

Please respond promptly to follow-up communications and report any medication concerns or side effects.

Monitoring is Essential

Ongoing communication and monitoring are essential parts of safe ADHD medication management. If we cannot reach you by telephone, we will email you to request an update so your treatment can continue safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What documentation do I need to bring?+

Your original diagnosis letter from a psychiatrist or specialist, plus details of any current or previous ADHD medications and dosages. Photo ID is required for all controlled medication prescriptions.

Can you take over my existing ADHD prescription?+

In most cases, yes. Subject to clinical review of your documentation, we can take over the ongoing management of a stable ADHD prescription. Please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.

What medications are prescribed?+

Commonly prescribed medications include methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, Medikinet) and lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse). All prescribing follows HPRA controlled drug regulations and IMC guidelines.

How often will I need to attend?+

Initially, more frequent reviews are required to establish your care plan. Once stable, follow-up is typically every 3 to 6 months depending on clinical need and medication type.

Is this service covered by health insurance?+

We work with VHI, Laya Healthcare, BUPA, and Aviva. Coverage varies by policy. We recommend confirming with your insurer in advance. Private fees apply and are clearly outlined in our fee structure.

What is included in the initial €600 fee?+

The initial medical assessment and 6–8 weeks of telephone follow-up and medication titration, where clinically appropriate.

Will I need to pay for prescriptions?+

Once your medication and dosage are established, the ongoing prescription service fee is €20 per month.

What happens if I need another review?+

Additional medical reviews required after the initial titration period cost €90 per review.

They allow the doctor to monitor treatment effectiveness, side effects and progress and make informed decisions about ongoing prescribing.

How will my follow-up appointments take place?+

Before You Begin

Patient Agreement & Treatment Terms

Patients entering our ADHD medication management service are required to understand and agree to the clinic's fees, follow-up arrangements and monitoring requirements.

By entering treatment, patients acknowledge:

The applicable fees for the service, including the initial assessment and titration fee, the ongoing monthly prescription service fee and any additional medical review fees.

The requirement to take part in clinical monitoring, including telephone follow-up reviews during the titration period.

The requirement to complete requested ADHD self-assessment questionnaires when asked.

That all prescriptions and medication adjustments remain subject to the treating doctor's clinical assessment.
