Nurse Teresa O’Connor

Nurse Teresa is originally from Tipperary but is now living in Ballyduff.  Teresa commenced her nursing education in University Hospital Galway in 1997 where she went on to complete a BA in Nursing.  Teresa moved to Cork in 2001 and gained extensive oncology experience in both the Mercy University Hospital and Cork University Hospital.

She obtained a higher Diploma in Oncology from UCD in 2005.  Prior to joining Clanmaurice, she managed a successful breast cancer research programme with the Royal College of Surgeons in Cork University Hospital.

She is enjoying her new role as practice nurse in Abbeydorney and is noted for her kind, courteous, and professional manner to patients and staff alike.
